I LOVE MY BEST FRIEND
I LOVE MY BEST FRIEND
Hi everyone! Usual apologies for lack of blog posts due to extremely hectic life schedule. However! I am using this 4 day weekend to finally recover from the horrors of college applications and theatre productions. In fact, I actually finished writing a physics lab—on a Saturday!! I’ve pretty much blanked out all of January from my memory so I’ll update you guys on more recent things, like last weekend!
Last weekend was Peppers at my school, aka the equivalent of a Sadie Hawkins dance at a normal high school. For those unfamiliar with the Sadie Hawkins tradition, it’s just a girls ask guys dance, or in my case, a girls ask girls dance! I asked my friend Emily, and I have to say that we looked the best there! Or maybe we got the most stares… but I think those two are the same. The dance itself was sub-par as most school dances are, but I still had plenty of fun with my friends whose pictures I decided not to include because then they’d detract from my face I wasn’t sure how okay they were with my showing them off to the internet.
Anyway, I hope you guys are doing well! I really don’t have much else to report besides that I’ve watched both seasons of Sherlock and am eagerly awaiting the 3rd. Hopefully now that my schedule has freed up I’ll post more (ha)!
remember when I said I’d make a New Years Resolution post? No? Me neither. Hehe.
“Kids, your aunt Lily has always been one of those people who loves their birthday. Loves it.”
Making an exception to my not-reblogging rule for 3 of my favorite things in one post: How I Met Your Mother, Lily, and
MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you thought 30 iPhone cases were enough for one 16 year-old girl, then I have returned to prove you wrong. All these cases are so wonderful and adorable!! Raghghghhg!!!! Society6 will be the end of me…
P.S. Shout-out to MS Paint for having a resizing tool that is is functional and easy to use (I’m looking at you SAI)
Hi hi! Not sure if I wrote about it, but I have officially jumped on the iBandwagon. Or stumbled. Or maybe I’m still running after it because I still don’t know how to use mine. What really happened is my dad threw my mom onto the bandwagon for Christmas, only to watch her jump off and attempt to hoist me on instead. Talk about an extended metaphor…
In any case (that was actually accidental, I swear), what better use for an iPhone than to express my love of nerdy things and pop culture? What I envied the most back when I was still with the common folk was the large selection of decorative accessories available for iPhones. Little did I know how large that selection really was until I spent 3 hours searching the internet for the perfect one. I mean. It wasn’t really 3 hours. Maybe. So here is my collage of iphone cases that I want but are too expensive/I am too lazy to press the order button so someone should get them for me.
In other news, my birthday is in 3 days (!!!!!!) so if anyone feels the need to get me any of these just hit me up and I’ll send you a link prepare yourself for birthday pictures! I should also have a New Years Post up sometime because to be honest I think I have negative pictures from that night and have basically no excuse for not writing it. Except homework. And college applications. And sleeping.
I love Christmas!!111 I say as I drink delicious Christmas tea out of my brand new thermos while knitting and reading all my new books. I told myself I wouldn’t post my presents but they’re just so cute and I love them and Christmas tea is really tasty.
Hope you’re all having a good day!
Here are some pictures from our Christmas festivities! We’re having quite a party! More blog posts to come. Prepare yourself for food, knitting, and presents :D
