For those of you who saw it on Facebook, this is what they actually said :)

Some nice celebratory message bean plants from Emily! I’ve been so busy but I can’t wait to watch these little guys grow!

Long time no blog! I’ve been exceedingly busy with college/life recently, but I’ve been on winter break for almost two weeks and still have another two to go and I’ve told myself that I will revive my blog even if it’s just a bit! I’m also going to Florida today, so I’ll try to post about that when I get back! Here are some short resolutions because I never got around to posting/making any last year :)

Resolutions for 2014:

  1. Don’t fight. Work towards resolution. Keep end goals in sight.
  2. Positive reinforcement. Do things that are in your power to do.
  3. Sleep.
  4. Eat well. Remember what the body needs to function at its best.
  5. Take advantage of the day. The day is your opportunity to do and experience things.
  6. Challenge mind. Use your mind’s potential. Knowledge and learning are infinite.
  7. Use body. Exhaust every capability.
  8. Accept shortcomings and disappointments. Always acknowledge, never dwell. Grow.
  9. Communicate. Nurture relationships worth keeping. Communication is the foundation of growth and maintenance.
  10. Appreciate life. Value.
  11. Prioritize self.

Hope everyone’s having a good holiday!

Hi everyone!

I know my blog has been greatly lacking in the past…year. Oops. I’ve been so busy and trying to keep off tumblr that I hardly think about updating it anymore! Anyway, I’m still adjusting to college, but for now, have a look and my growing windowsill garden!

I’ve been a big fan of plants for forever, but college has finally given me the opportunity to search them out myself and take care of them! I acquired most of the cacti/succulents yesterday and I love them!

Hopefully I’ll be able to update more as I get adjusted :)

I will be giving a lecture about my art, career, and other nonsense at my alma mater, the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, on Monday October 14th at 7:00 pm in the Main Auditorium. This event is presented by the Illustration Department, but it is open to students in all majors as well as to the general public. It has been a while since I’ve been back and I’m really looking forward to it. New Englanders, I hope to see you there!

I arise from my hibernation to let all of you know

Okay hi again for real this time!!! Sorry I actually haven’t updated my blog in 5 months… I’ve been so so so so busy! It was senior year for me which meant college applications and ap exams and and and >O< also a lot of unexpected stuff (good and bad!) which took up a lot of time too! But now it’s all over and just time to enjoy the good stuff B)

Anyway!! Here’s a really really short and condensed picture recap of my past 5 months:

  • Went to Chicago with some friends yeah!!
  • Went to prom yeah!!
  • Graduated with some chicks yeah!!!
  • (that means I’m really mature now yeah!!!)
  • Been having an awesome summer with Emily (whose tumblr I can’t remember) yeah!!!

And I just got back from Europe and another short visit to Chicago! Sooo I’ll put up Europe pictures some time this week and pretend that means I’m updated :D

Hope you guys are having a good summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone! Usual apologies for lack of blog posts due to extremely hectic life schedule. However! I am using this 4 day weekend to finally recover from the horrors of college applications and theatre productions. In fact, I actually finished writing a physics lab—on a Saturday!! I’ve pretty much blanked out all of January from my memory so I’ll update you guys on more recent things, like last weekend!

Last weekend was Peppers at my school, aka the equivalent of a Sadie Hawkins dance at a normal high school. For those unfamiliar with the Sadie Hawkins tradition, it’s just a girls ask guys dance, or in my case, a girls ask girls dance! I asked my friend Emily, and I have to say that we looked the best there! Or maybe we got the most stares… but I think those two are the same. The dance itself was sub-par as most school dances are, but I still had plenty of fun with my friends whose pictures I decided not to include because then they’d detract from my face I wasn’t sure how okay they were with my showing them off to the internet.

Anyway, I hope you guys are doing well! I really don’t have much else to report besides that I’ve watched both seasons of Sherlock and am eagerly awaiting the 3rd. Hopefully now that my schedule has freed up I’ll post more (ha)!

remember when I said I’d make a New Years Resolution post? No? Me neither. Hehe.

“Kids, your aunt Lily has always been one of those people who loves their birthday. Loves it.

Making an exception to my not-reblogging rule for 3 of my favorite things in one post: How I Met Your Mother, Lily, and

MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
